About the Republic of Texas History Center

For more than 130 years, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas have sought to tell the state’s unique story by preserving its historical sites and artifacts. The Republic of Texas History Center is the Daughters’ new headquarters and so much more. Located in the heart of the Robertson Hill neighborhood, adjacent to the French Legation State Historic Site, the Republic of Texas History Center offers the public a Texas genealogical research facility, a professionally redesigned Republic of Texas Museum, and a spacious event venue.
